Classic Filters Celebrates KEiBA Business Award Success

Classic Filters is celebrating making it to the finals of the Kent Excellence in Business Awards 2012 which were hosted last week here in the UK. The achievement was celebrated at a glittering event at Priestfield, Gillingham Football Club, which was staged and produced by Kent County Council and The KM Group.

What are the KEiBA awards?
KEiBA aims to recognise and reward excellence in Kent and Medway businesses of all sizes as well as individual awards. It’s hoped that the awards will also boost staff morale and help attract new staff. Winning an award also helps businesses raise their profile in Kent.

Thirteen businesses and individuals were selected as category winners after a tough judging process whittled down hundreds of entries to 40 finalists.

Classic Filters were a top three finalist in the SME Business of the Year category. You can see us on page 19 in the KEiBA finalist book.

Classic Filters celebrate with the whole team
We are really celebrating as a whole team. It is an acknowledgement of the hard work and commitment of everyone here. As we have grown we have managed to maintain the quality of our products and commitment to customer service. I also believe a source of our success is the skill and experience we have here at Classic Filter which enables us to innovate and solve customer problems. As a global business it is this attention to detail that enables customers to feel like we are really part of their business.

It was a great night at the awards. We missed out on winning the category but just to make the final was fabulous and we certainly celebrated that just as hard.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our Distributors and Clients because without your continued business we would not be able to flourish as we are.

Quotes from the KEiBA organisers
Here is what a couple of the organisers said of the occasion.

Kent County Council Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Economic Development, Mark Dance: “I was delighted to see so many outstanding businesses and entrepreneurs last night. All of the entrants were of an extremely high standard and Kent has once again shown that it really is the place to do business. I want to send my heartfelt congratulations to everyone who took part in this year’s KEiBA – and in particular to the exceptional and deserving winners.”

Chairman of KM Group, Geraldine Allinson, said: “This is the fourth Kent Excellence in Business Awards and last night’s event raised the game, yet again, as far as awards schemes in this county are concerned. It truly was Kent’s business night of the year. My congratulations go to the finalists and worthy winners for achieving so much in a tough economic climate. This is a great county to do business in and, better placed than most to take advantage of the many opportunities ahead.”
