Hidrojen Elektrolizörleri için Filtreler
What is a Hydrogen Electrolyser?
An electrolyser uses electricity to split water into hydrogen and oxygen. Electrolysis therefore creates hydrogen gas.
The leftover oxygen vents to atmosphere, or you can collect it for other industrial uses.
Why are Filters Needed?
The hydrogen carries large amounts of water, so you need to remove it. A coalescing filter separates the liquid from the gas and then drains it away.
A catchpot housing handles bulk liquid as a first stage. This also stops the coalescing filter from flooding.
Filters from Stock and Custom Designs for Hydrogen Electrolysers
Classic Filters works with OEM customers who build hydrogen electrolysers. Our standard stainless steel SS424 and SS434 series filter housings suit 3/4″ to 2″ lines up to 35 bar. Some special designs also increase liquid capacity so drainage stays efficient.
However, electrolysers now run at higher pressures, larger flow rates and bigger line sizes. We therefore specify the SHS425 and SHS435 series for applications above 35 bar.
For smaller systems our SS215 series are perfect for 1/4″ and 1/2″ line sizes.
We supply all our filter housings with NPT or BSPP ports.
If you need something special, our designs help you find the right solution for your hydrogen electrolyser.
