316L Stainless Steel Filter Housings

You need a 316L stainless steel filter housing. Classic Filters keeps a stock range of stainless steel filter housings. If the stock housing does not suit your application, we design and build one from scratch.

Most of these housings go into instrumentation and analyser sample systems. The same housings also also suitable for a huge range other duties. So tell us about the application, and we will select a filter housing or design a special.

316L Stainless Steel

We build every stock stainless steel filter housing in 316L. There are no welds, so the housing complies with NACE MR-01-75. And each housing has a serial number so you can also trace the material back to the mill. We can also supply an EN 10204-3.1 material certificate with the housing.

High Pressure

Stock ports run from 1/8” to 1” NPT. Pressure ratings run up to 1400 bar. So the same range covers a low-pressure sample line and a high-pressure gas line.

CE Marks and the Pressure Equipment Directive

All of these housings meet the Pressure Equipment Directive (2014/68/EU). We CE-mark the housing when the directive requires a mark. Housings below that threshold conform to SEP and carry no CE mark. Read more about CE marks here.

Exotic Materials

If 316L is the wrong material for you, we can make the housing in titanium, Hastelloy, Monel or Inconel. Tell us the duty and we will match the material. Read more here.
